Subject: New Commissioner - Workers

On December 22, the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, announced the appointment of Ms. Mary-Lou Donnelly to the Canada Employment Insurance Commission as the Commissioner for Workers for a five-year term, effective January 16, 2012.

Ms. Donnelly replaces the former Commissioner, Patricia Blackstaffe, who retired at the end of her term in 2011.

We take this opportunity to welcome Ms. Donnelly as the new Commissioner for Workers.
